Inflammation
When our bodies are challenged by physical, chemical, biologic and energetic stresses, they respond with a variety of methods.
These include stimulation of immune cells, nervous system activation, and hormonal arousal among others. These responses are normal and appropriate. Sometimes though, the triggers of inflammation persist. An example is gluten sensitivity. When the trigger continues to cause a reaction from the immune system, it can become a vicious cycle of excess inflammation that eventually causes disease. To prevent disease, we must stop excess inflammation.
